MHA offers parent and caregiver support throughout New Jersey.   

 New Jersey Disability Hub brings together resources into one place for New Jersey residents with disabilities, caregivers, parents, and advocates. Caregivers can find information on support programs and services to assist them in caring for their loved ones. 

Perform Care provides support to families  with children up to age 21 who are in need of behavioral health, intellectual or developmental disability treatment.

SPAN is a Parent to Parent USA Alliance Member Organization. They connect parents and caregivers with a trained parent "mentor" who has a child with a similar diagnosis and understands what you are going through.  They are trained to provide information and emotional support.  

Autism NJ helpline is often the first line of support for parents/caregivers who are navigating services  supports in NJ for their children and adult children with autism. 

Mom2Mom is run by trained peer support and crisis counselors who are also moms of special needs children and adults.  The phone line offers peer support, a place to vent and access to reliable resources.

Mom2Mom NJ Adult Help Line  is run by trained peer support  counselors who have navigated the transition to adulthood with their children.  Support is available to parents/caregivers of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Provides  direct family-to-family peer support, education and  advocacy to family members of children with emotional and behavioral challenges.  

 Family Based Services Association of NJ (FBSA) provides peer support, educates, and advocates on behalf of Monmouth County, NJ parents and families of children and youth with emotional, behavioral, mental health, and developmental disabilities.
